Crescent Moon Coffee Klatch presents….

The Crescent Moon Coffee Klatch will be hosting a fund-raising lecture series for the New Alexandrian Library Project. A lecture a month for six months will be given at the Paint Branch Unitarian Universalist Church, 3215 Powder Mill Road, Adelphi, MD in the Kelley Room. Our guest speakers are members of the Assembly of the Sacred Wheel, a legally recognized 501c3 Wiccan non-profit religious organization, based in the Mid-Atlantic region.Pagan Lectures in Montgomery County, MD The dates and topics are as follows:

with a canned food donation for our S.O.M.E collection (So Others May Eat)
or $15.00. Each lecture will begin promptly at 2 p.m. and end at
5 p.m. All funds received during these lectures will be donated 100%
to the New Alexandrian Library Project. *No one is turned away
for lack of funds, all donations are gladly accepted.

The land for this project is being donated as well as the architectural plans. The New Alexandrian Library will be located in the sacred woods of Seelie Court in Southern Delaware. The New Alexandrian Library will be under the aegis of the Assembly of the Sacred Wheel and as such donations are tax deductible. Consider donating to the New Alexandrian Library Project and help the past stay in our present and in the future to come.
This fund-raising event benefits so many in our community! First, all procedes go directly to the New Alexandrian Library Project - an Esoteric library being created to open its doors in 2010. This library benefits anyone and everyone with a thirst for knowledge and wisdom. You can help make this dream real for so many with just your attendance to this and other events in its honor.
Second, the food donations goes to a local adult shelter and food kitchen to help some very needy people. Especially now that the holidays have come and gone, the shelters really need our help now when no one else is giving. One or two cans of food is all it takes.
And lastly, we give back to you for your generosity by offering these very unique and educational lecture in a enveloping setting. These lessons learned can do nothing but help you through your days to come. So do something for yourself and your community! Not to mention meeting all those lovely like-minded people.

From I-95: Take Exit 29B West on Powder Mill Road (MD 212), proceed one-and-a-half miles past three traffic lights to the church parking lot on the left. (The parking lot entrance is located next to the Paint Branch sign.) Our room is the Kelley Room in the Educational Building off to the left of the main church. NOTE: If you go to New Hampshire Avenue, you have driven too far.
From the Capital Beltway (I-495): Take Exit 28A North on New Hampshire Avenue. Stay in the right lane, turn right on Powder Mill Road. Go one mile, bearing left at the next traffic light and proceed up hill. Both the parking lot and the church sign is on the right. Our room is the Kelley Room in the Educational Building off to the left of the main church. NOTE: If you hit the intersection of Powder Mill Road and Cherry Hill Road, you have driven too far.
From Washington, DC: Take Riggs Road north until it turns into Powder Mill Road. Go one mile more to the church sign on the right. Our room is the Kelley Room in the Educational Building off to the left of the main church. NOTE: If you hit the intersection of Powder Mill Road and Cherry Hill Road, you have driven too far.
From Metro: Take the Metro to either Fort Totten (located on both the Red and Green Lines) or Prince George's Plaza (located on the Green Line). Transfer to the R2 Metrobus heading towards Calverton. When the bus passes the U.S. Army Lab (located at the intersection of Floral Drive and Powder Mill Road), start looking for the Paint Branch Unitarian Universalist Church sign on the right hand side of the road. There is a bus stop located near PBUUC.
If you need to come to PBUUC during the week (Monday-Friday), you will also have the option of transferring to the R7 and R5 Metrobuses as well as the R2. (You can transfer to all buses from either the Fort Totten or Prince George's Plaza Metro stops.) For more information on the schedules for these buses, you can do one of the following:
